Product Sizes:
5 gram container = 1 gram of mineral makeup
10 gram container = 3 grams of mineral makeup
20 gram container = 6 grams of mineral makeup
30 gram container = 9-10 grams of mineral makeup

Containers are often made based on volume, not weight.  For example: the 1 gram jars are sold to us as 5 gram jars because most products that are sold in them weigh more than mineral makeup.  We won't tell you or insinuate that we're giving you 5 grams of mineral makeup just because it's in a 5-gram jar.  Everything is based on product weight.
Some minerals weigh more than others, this is why we hand-fill and weigh every jar.

Q: What is mineral makeup?
A: Mineral makeup is the most natural form of makeup available.  They are crushed minerals from the earth that have been through a purification process to ensure the highest quality and blended into various beautiful shades.  Mineral makeup has been around for thousands of years, used even by the early Egyptians as makeup.  Mineral makeup powders range from matte to highly lustrous.

Q: Does mineral makeup contain irritants or preservatives?
A: Our mineral makeup contains no dyes, irritants, preservatives, waxes, mineral or petroleum oil, or fillers.  Our powders are loose and buff easily into the skin. Visit our detailed page about mineral makeup ingredients here.

Q: What if I don't know if I'll like the shade I order?
A: If you're unsure about a shade, we strongly suggest you try the sample size first since we do not accept returns or refunds...click here for more information.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, we have a merchant account and accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover.
You can use any of those cards via the secure online shopping cart, or phone it to your consultant or to the main company if you don't have a consultant.

Q: Do you accept PayPal?
A: Yes, we accept PayPal funds, credit cards through PayPal, instant transfers as well as eChecks

Q: How is my order shipped?
A: Via USPS Priority Mail...International orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail.

Q: I don't know how to apply the makeup, can you help?
A: There are application techniques on the site as well as in each order for your convenience.

Q: If I don't see the exact shade I want, is it okay to mix minerals?
A: Yes, you can mix any of the minerals to make various shades, creating your own unique blend!

Q: Is my information safe? Do you have a privacy policy?
A: We only collect information necessary to fill your orders and communicate with you.  We do not sell or share your information with anyone.

Q: If I'm sensitive or allergic to other makeup, can I use mineral makeup?
A: You should be able to but none of our products should be used in place of proper medical care or to treat or cure any disease.  Affordable Mineral Makeup and it's owners and consultants will not be held responsible for any reaction to any ingredient or product we offer.  We do offer samples of most of our products so that you may try them first to test for any allergic reactions.
